The menu will include such highlights as stone-baked pita with linseed and garlic oil, old-school hummus drizzled with crunchy chilli oil, beetroot and bourghal spread, and kingfish ceviche with avocado and pickled cucumber. Can you imagine anything better than sharing those under an open sky?
The signature cocktail list, on the other hand, celebrates bright, expressive flavours through cocktails that are both familiar, yet surprising. Expect pistachio, saffron, rose, lemon myrtle and desert lime woven through a mix of reimagined classics and adventurous signatures. Plus, no list would be complete without a signature drink. For Above, that’s the Mirage: a refreshing blend of Belvedere Vodka, passionfruit, rose water, and desert lime soda.
The textures and tone of its décor were designed with comfort and airiness in mined, with tiled detailing, lush greenery, and layers that feel coastal yet distinctly Brisbane. With room for 60 seated or 120 standing guests, the rooftop will open Wednesday to Sunday, hosting live music and curated seasonal events in rhythm with Brisbane’s arts and festival calendar.
