Just when we thought the American Horror Story franchise had done its time, creator Ryan Murphy has come out with a brand new season of the shockingly good series. American Horror Stories is a spin-off show to the original series, where each episode is a different horror story.
The second season premiered last week on BINGE, and the first episode is pretty darn creepy, to say the least, and highly original, which is totally expected. Basically, it’s about a toymaker who kidnaps women, keeps them locked in a real-life dollhouse and puts them through a series of tests, and the one who scores lowest on the test gets thrown down a well. Yeah, it’s as twisted as it sounds. Why do we watch things like this? Who knows.

In true American Horror Story style, some of the cast from previous seasons are returning as new characters, including Denis O’Hare, Gabourey Sidibe, Cody Fern, Max Greenfield and Nico Greetham. We’ll also see newcomers such as Bella Thorne, Alicia Silverstone, Judith Light, Dominique Jackson and Quvenzhané Wallis.
What we can also expect is the previous seasons to weave their way into the episodes of season two, just like they have with the first episode, which we won’t spoil for you, but you’ll know when you reach the final scene.
In terms of what’s in store for this season, the first episode is titled “Dollhouse” which, after watching it, is pretty self-explanatory. The second episode is titled “Aura”, so not sure what to expect there, but we’ll just have to wait until July 28 to find out when the episode drops.
You can catch a new episode of American Horror Stories every Friday from 8pm on BINGE.
