For the whole month of June (from June 3 to June 28), The Belvedere in Woody Point has got the fiesta you need tequil-off the winter blues!
Dust off your sombrero and get dance into this month-long celebration of everything Mexico! From margarita-fuelled afternoons to taco giveaways, tequila tastings and live mariachi performances, The Belvedere is serving up a full calendar of colour and flavour.
And don’t worry, there’s plenty for amigos of all ages to do, from lively kids’ piñata parties to a late-night iconic Day of the Dead celebration. Everyone’s encouraged to dress for the occasion, and there’s even prizes up for grabs for the best dressed!
Here’s everything you can look forward to:
- Every Friday: Mexican Hour (3pm to 5pm), specials on Mexican food and drinks.
- Tuesday, June 3 and June 10: Tacos & Tequila, free tacos with any margarita jug purchase
- Wednesday, June 4 and June 11: $15 Enchiladas
- Wednesday, June 11: Kids Piñata Party, with piñata fun, pin the tail on the donkey, decorate your own sombrero, and kids eat free from 4pm!
- Thursday, June 12: Patrón Tequila Masterclass, where you’ll learn how to make two Patrón cocktails, be able to sample five Patrón tequilas, munch on canapés, and receive a goodie bag! There are two sessions, one at 5pm and another at 7:30pm.
- Saturday, June 14: Day of the Dead Party, with a DJ and best dressed prizes, from 9pm.
- Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15: Fiesta Tropicale with a live Mexican mariachi band and Mexican dance group QLD, from 2pm.
- Every Saturday: Taste of Mexico, a 2-hour all-inclusive, Mexican food and drinks package from 3pm to 5pm.
