Riverfire!
The much-loved Sunsuper Riverfire is once again taking its place at the end of the Brisbane Festival, which has been a fantastic few weeks in the city of art, music and entertainment.
Saturday promises to light up Brisbane’s skyline in a kaleidoscope of colour and sound as Foti Fireworks fire off a pyrotechnic show from multiple bridges, barges and city rooftops. Before that happens though, the event will begin with a smoking ceremony led by Tribal Experiences Managing Director and Yuggera and Turrbal man Shannon Ruska.
The Australian Army and Royal Australian Air Force will also perform aerial acrobatics to make the crowds gasp and hold onto their own seats prior to the surely magnificent firework display. They take to the skies at 5pm.
Bumper crowds will also be able to tune into Triple M on the night and follow along to their live broadcast which will include a curated playlist or turn to Channel 9’s exclusive television coverage.
