For the fur-st time since 2024, Dog Lovers Festival is bounding back to Brisbane, with an array of themed attractions to look forward to!
Dog Lovers Festival is a fur parent’s paradise, with heaps of events where you can celebrate your love for all things canine: whether it be browsing the dog expo for the latest and greatest products and services to spoil your pooch, getting them some swag at the marketplace, meeting over 400 dogs at the Pat-A-Pooch Zone — although someone may get jealous when you come home — or catching a show of impressive high-jumping feats at the VitaPet Arena.
Hosted by fan favourite MC Lara Shannon, this area will continuously spotlight canine talents, with shows focused on agility, obedience, scent work, and even dances! You’ll get to see experts like Dr Katrina Warren, Kelly Gill & The Wonderdogs, and Brooke Ellis.
But this is not just for dog owners! If you’ve been thinking of starting a fur family — or growing yours! — this is your chance! You’ll be able to interact with and learn about dogs up for adoption while connecting with passionate representatives from adoption groups. While adoptions won’t take place on the spot, you can fall in love with a pup and gather the information needed to begin their adoption journey.
The on-site dog expo will be packed with exhibitors selling everything from treats to accessories. Think luxe bedding, doggie cologne, K9 cookies and custom collars, to name a few. Food and drinks options for humans will be available at the festival too, including hot dogs, coffee, pastries, and more.
