When it comes to decadent donuts, Kenilworth Bakery in the Sunshine Coast hinterland is a hot favourite, and one that’s totally worth travelling for. So naturally, we’re excited that the popular bakehouse is teaming up with Sunshine Coast beer brewers Tarella Brewing to launch a Donut Festival this June.
In celebration of National Donut Day, this event will hit the North Arm brewery for one day only on Saturday, June 3.
Satisfy your sweet tooth with donuts from Kenilworth Bakery and wash it down with Queensland’s very first donut beer, brewed with the sweet doughy goodness we know and love.
To add to the hole-some fun, there will be donut-eating competitions, games, as well as live music to soundtrack your day, and food trucks if you want to eat something that’s not a donut.
Donut Festival will also be home a petting zoo to keep the little ones occupied with some furry friends.
You can book a table at the brewery or bring along a gazebo, picnic blanket and chairs to set up a spot on the lawn.
The event is also dog-friendly, in case you wanted to bring your pup along.
