Up until December 19, St. Nicholas Precinct will transform into a dazzling wonderland of colour, with close to 250 metres of amazing lights displayed of a night, all in one magical walk-through experience. Become awe-inspired at the stunning installations and enjoy live entertainment, festive food truck eats, plus Christmas movies and stage shows at Tulmur Place. Ballistic Brewery will also be doing a pop-up on Friday, December 17 at 5.30 pm, which is sure to have you sorted for knock-off beers.
Over the weekend, Santa will be going on tour in a Christmas-themed truck, courtesy of the Mt Forbes Rural Fire Service. The man himself will make his way past the Christmas lights, local parks, and suburbs in Ipswich. Find out where and when Santa will stop here.
If you want even more from the free Christmas events in Ipswich with the kids, hit up the local libraries in the Ipswich region to write a free letter to Santa. Then from 11 am on Friday, December 17, join Mr. and Mrs. Claus and their North Pole Pals via Zoom as they share Christmas stories, carols, and a selection of handwritten letters from the youngins.
