If you’ve been greener than Keroppi with envy since the Hello Kitty and Friends Café opened in Melbourne, we have amazing news: an equally adorable and immersive café just opened up in the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre!
Taking up the entire back area of the food court on Level 1 of the mall, the combination restaurant and store is made up of three different zones, all meticulously themed after all our favourite Sanrio characters, from the Cinnamoroll-centric dining space, where the adorable cinnamon roll-tailed puppy covers every available surface, to the iconic Hello Kitty Corner.
At the Cinnamoroll World area, you can catch up with your besties over delicious café classics with a fun Japanese twist, including themed bento boxes, flavourful poke bowls, strawberry sandos, other classic fresh-baked pastries and treats (their cake pops are a highlight), and creamy smoothies. And, if you’re feeling fancy, you can even spill the tea over some High Tea. For those on-the-go, the Hello Kitty Corner offers takeaway coffee and pastries as cute and tasty as everything else in the café.
And we can’t forget to mention the delightful, exclusive merch for sale in the area at the back of the venue — with distractingly stunning views, we might add — with everything from Gold Coast-specific shirts of every beloved Sanrio character you can think of, to plushies, keyrings, patches, bags and much more!
Every visit to the Hello Kitty and Friends café promises something sweet, fun, and photo-worthy, and you can pay them a visit Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9am to 5:30pm, Thursdays from 9am to 9pm, and Sundays from 9am to 5pm.
