One of the most anticipated Christmas markets — and one of the most action-packed— the HOTA Christmas Twilight Market is bringing all the Christmas cheer it can muster on December 20. It’s night market time at the cultural precinct as they break out the sparkling and twinkling decorations and live entertainment that’s calling on Santa to drop in.
This year at HOTA Christmas Twilight Markets is going to sleigh, with more than 150 one-of-a-kind food, drink and artisan stalls, festive live entertainment and, of course, a visit from Santa! Not only will the little ones get to meet the myth himself, but there’ll be plenty of other fun activities for them, like a magical Bubble Fairy!

When it comes to food, you’ll have a winter wonderland of Queensland’s most delicious street eats to explore, so your taste buds are in for a sleigh ride! From mouth-watering into takoyaki from Rolli Polli, comforting spiced chicken curry from Little Mamak, and something to satisfy your sweet tooth, like Basque Cheesecake from Basque, every vendor has earned their spot on the Nice List.
And before you think it’s all about the food, let us set the record straight: the market will be a feast for all senses! From toe-tapping live music by Camali Band, as well as Japanese Drummers, to roving performers and one-of-a-kind treasures from local markets, there’s something for everyone. Soak up the atmosphere with heaps of fun for the whole family and start silly season off with a bang!
Best of all, for all the Scrooges out there, it’s free entry! So if you’re itching to get into the Chrissy spirit, this has to be one of your stops.
