Unleash your inner Picasso while feasting on unlimited tacos and margs at Hungry José. From the team behind paint and sip legends Paint Juicy comes this new Milton venture, which is both Mexican eatery and entertainment venue for art sessions, drag shows, and cabaret.
Hungry José is fitted out with neon sugar skulls, Mexican fighting masks, a disco ball, laser lights, and a vibrant pink stage for live entertainment.
The regular food menu, which is available for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday, features a range of delicious Mexican street food, including tacos, tostadas, chilaquiles, and quesadillas.
Come on a Tuesday for their two-for-one taco deal, available in varieties such as beef, shredded chicken, fish, mushroom, and squid. It honestly couldn’t get more Taco Tuesday than that.
Every second Sunday is where things get serious, though — Bottomless Brunch Paint ‘N’ Sip serious. For $99 per person, tuck into bottomless tacos and margaritas while you’re guided by a local artist in painting a masterpiece to take home.
A little birdy (might’ve been José) told us that there will also be nude male paint and sip sessions coming soon, so stay tuned for that.
Hungry José not only offers epic eats, but also thrilling live entertainment. Test your knowledge and have a fabulous time at the monthly drag trivia, where fierce competition meets fabulousness.
Join the fun every second Sunday for Drag Lip Sync Roulette, hosted by Gold Coast drag queen Justine Kace, for an evening of sensational lip sync battles and infectious energy.
And mark your calendars for the first Saturday of each month, when Hungry José’s Showboat Cabaret takes the stage with rotating entertainment acts that’ll leave you dazzled and amazed.
