If you thought winter couldn’t get any better when it comes to events and happenings, think again. The much-loved James St Food & Wine Trail is returning this July for four days of epic eats and equally delicious bevvies. Last year’s event was moved to an “at-home” takeaway situation due to the snap lockdown, so we’re more than excited to be able to attend in person again this year.
The James St Food & Wine Trail will run from Thursday, July 28 until Sunday, July 31, showcasing some of James St’s best venues. The main event falls on Market Day, July 31, where the street will be closed off to accommodate five live music stages. Choose from a stacked lineup of food and drink pop-ups, including fried chicken & truffle rolls from ESSA, delicious porchetta rolls from Mosconi as well as two limited-edition desserts from Gelato Messina.
You can even get a little taste of the European summer with Hellenika‘s chargrilled octopus, lamb ribs and Greek salad.
If you can’t make it on Market Day, though, not to worry. On the days prior, you’ll get to enjoy an array of Trail Day offerings, everything from multi-course meals to tastings, and pairings — even a Lebanese Pizza Party.
You can find the full program for the four-day event here.
