The 1970s seemed like a real vibe, what with the fur coats, flares, and what have you. Get transported back in time to the era thanks to this 70s-inspired supper club. Maggie May is located in the Gasworks precinct in Newstead, so get ready to get retro.
A supper club is a dining establishment that doubles as a social club. These clubs generally pose as high-class establishments without the unaffordable price tag.
At Maggie May, you can expect a casual dining experience complete with delicious eats as well as wine to pair.
The interiors pay homage to the 70s, with warm hues of mustard, golden brown and teal.
The supper club has also recently launched a bottomless brunch offering on Saturdays and Sundays.
Starting from $69 per person, you’ll get to lean into the morning with delicious eats such as wild mushrooms on toast topped with Gruyere and gin cured salmon drizzled in mouth-watering hollandaise sauce as well as bottomless bubbles and tap beer.
You can add cocktails to your brunch intake for an extra $30.
“Maggie May is the coolest girl on the block, a retro supper club inviting guests to let their hair down and embody the free-spirited persona of the seventies for a fun-filled affair with friends,” says the club’s director Joe Heanen. “The venue boasts seventies nostalgia with a modern twist. Maggie May is a place where patrons can feel at home and ultimately know they’re in for a good time.”
