Australia’s premier axe-throwing company Maniax, which you might’ve stumbled upon in Newstead, is a choice spot to work up a sweat before quenching your thirst with a cold one.
Can’t make it to the Newstead venue, but still have a hankering to hurl a hatchet or two? Fear not – Maniax has just announced a new spot on Adelaide Street. The new venue, which opens this November, will be made up of six private axe-throwing lanes, each with two targets, as well as 12 “quick chuck” lanes with a singular target.
As you’re hitting targets, or after your game, you can sip on a Viking-inspired cocktail (yes, including some from drinking horns), craft beer, wine or a non-alcoholic beverage from the onsite bar Ragnar & Sons, as well as order from the selection of pizzas and burgers on offer.
So if you’re looking to let off some steam with your friends and perhaps become an axe-throwing champion by hitting the bullseye, then gather the gang for MANIAX when it opens its second Brisbane venue.
MANIAX will open at Basement 79, Adelaide Street, Brisbane CBD on Thursday, November 23.
