The Market Folk’s Christmas Market is perfect for ticking off those last-minute gifts. And just before the twenty-fifth arrives on our doorsteps at a record pace, The Market Folk will join forces with Brisbane City Council to host two final Christmas markets for the year on Saturday, December 18, and Sunday, December 19 from 9 am – 1 pm.
Boasting over 40 stallholders slinging handmade art, fashion, homewares, plants, ceramics, children’s goods, beauty, and more, The Market Folk’s Christmas Markets will have you lapping up the festive cheer whilst shopping local. Both markets— Everton Plaza Christmas Market and Fish Lane Christmas Markets will also feature live music, a delicious lineup of food, and a stunning flower wall created by Brissy-based builder, KMG Design and Carpentry, and local florist, Florals By Blush that you can use as a backdrop for an Insta-snap with your goodies from the market.
Everton Plaza Christmas Market will take place on Saturday, December 18, and will feature live music from local folk-pop singer, Jess Irvine. In the food department, we can expect to bite into new and local favourites such as Mai Gai, Spotted Cod, Oh Gelato, Seoul Chicken, and more.
Fish Lane Christmas Markets, on the other hand, will run on Sunday, December 19, with mouthwatering market meals from The Paladar, Lune Croissanterie, Kiki, Chu the Phat, GrassFed, Billykart West End, Big Roddy’s, and Saccharomyces.
Both markets are free entry.
