Fan Land 2026 is bringing the magic of NRL action to you! The free sports live viewing precinct, which drew 8,000 fans in its first year, is returning for four days of Women’s State of Origin and Magic Round action on Brisbane’s largest outdoor sports screen.
It all began with the trophy handover, as the Broncos handed over both the 2025 NRL and NRLW premiership trophies for public display in Queen’s Wharf, where they will remain throughout the event.

What to expect
Fan Land 2026 will open with Women’s State of Origin, a deliberate choice that places the NRLW premiership trophy alongside its NRL counterpart from the first moment of
the activation, where it belongs.
The program will runs across four days, with live match broadcasts on Brisbane’s largest outdoor sports screen, trivia, bingo, Brisbane’s Best Mullet Competition, live performances from Matty Johns and The Johns Family, giveaways, and even the opportunity to meet with Broncos legends, such as Paul Gallen, Alfie Langer, Jharal Yow Yeh, and more!
As the event approaches and Brissy’s national reputation as a destination grows, this year’s Fan Land promises to be bigger than ever. As Brisbane Airport Head of Terminal Operations, Stacey Pollard, explained, the Magic Round period is shaping as one of the airport’s busiest: “We see jerseys from every club streaming off planes, and we know when Brisbane Airport is busy, the city is thriving. Events like Magic Round are a big part of what brings people here.”
