If you’re unsure what to do for Halloween next week, why not gather the gang for an open-air cinema session, free of charge? Pack a picnic and head to Victoria Park / Barrambin on Saturday, October 28 for a double-header of Halloween classics on the lawn.
The evening under the stars will kick off at 5.30pm, so head down early to find a good spot before the first film starts at 6.30pm.
Hotel Transylvania will kick off proceedings, followed by Ghostbusters: Afterlife at 8.15pm. Both movies are suitable for kids, so the whole family can join — and so can dogs if you don’t want your furry friends to stay at home. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, though.
It’s BYO food and drinks, but there will also be food trucks onsite.
If you’re really looking to lean into the Halloween spirit, Victoria Park / Barrambin is also currently home to a frightfully fun Halloween-themed putt putt course which has popped up for the spooky season.
