River to Bay doesn’t do bar crawls, they do bar cruises. And on their Cocktail Cruise, they’ll pick you up from the City Botanic Gardens River Hub for a golden afternoon of fun (with tasty cocktails of course).
After being introduced to your friendly captain and crew, the boat will be bound for the Brisbane River. On the first leg of the journey, you’ll get the opportunity to take in the city skyline sights, with a margarita or gin & tonic in hand, as well as music playing over the speakers to set the vibe.
Over the course of the four-hour cruise, the boat will stop at three of Brisbane’s most scenic cocktail bars. The bar choices change based on availability on the day, which makes it even more fun being a lucky dip. Some stops you can expect, though, are Mary Mae’s, Will and Flow, Toscano Bar, Fiume Rooftop Bar at Crystalbrook Vincent, Mr & Mrs G Riverbar, SouthBeach, and La Mexicana.
At these bars, you’ll get exclusive discounts, whether that be cheap drinks, cocktail jugs and more. Then, while you’re on the boat between venues, you’ll get two complimentary drinks to enjoy on board while you take in the view.
To top things off, you may also get to experience a little bit of an adrenaline rush after the first venue, as well as be introduced to some fun Brisbane trivia told by the crew.
You can secure your spot on the next Cocktail Cruise via the River to Bay website.
River to Bay also hosts a twilight brewery cruise you can check out.
