There’s a reason why Tamborine Mountain is one of the most popular day trips from Brisbane. Located just over an hour from the city, this charming town is home to everything from distilleries to waterfalls. And, come early 2024, the town will also be home to Sol Elements, a Japanese-style bathhouse inspired by nature’s four elements: earth, fire, air and water.
Nestled in a stunning rainforest setting, this rejuvenating bathhouse is designed to make you feel like you’ve just stepped inside a Japanese onsen, where you can soak your worries away with an array of wellness amenities.
From switching between communal onsens and cold plunge pools to sweating it out in an infrared sauna, there’s bound to be something for everyone at this new haven for relaxation.
Highlights include a Himalayan salt cave that will leave your skin feeling refreshed, a variety of massage treatments that promote deep relaxation and rejuvenation, and a sunken waterfront fire pit to lounge at before or after your treatment.
Sol Elements is set to open on Tamborine Mountain in early 2024.
