There’s never a bad time to drive around Queensland, but there’s something truly magical about the Sunshine State during sunflower season, when it seems to be taken over by the sunny hues of these cheerful flowers!
Flowering from September through to the end of May, roughly — although some farms may vary depending on location and weather — the fields of bright yellow throughout the state welcomes the summer and spring months and generally lifts our moods. So if you’re also in need of some flowering beauty, then head on out to these locations to see the sunflowers in full bloom. We recommend going in the early morning or late afternoon, when the golden light complements the flowers best!
