The Sunset Cinema returns this March with an excellent line-up of movies from fresh blockbusters to old classics and family favourites. So if you want to get your outdoor film fix now that Moonlight Cinema is done for the season, look no further.
Sunset Cinema
Hosted for the first time ever at Dock D, Northshore Brisbane, the Sunset Cinema runs from Tuesday to Saturday for eight weeks from March 21 to May 11, with a stellar line-up of movies on offer.
The 2024 program kicks off with new releases like the romantic comedy Anyone But You, Australian crime thriller Force of Nature: The Dry 2 and the Timothee Chalamet-starring Wonka.
You can also keep the kids entertained with a double feature movie night of Finding Nemo and Toy Story, or with comedy classics Mean Girls and Clueless.
Other titles to have on your radar include Dune: Part 2 as well as Madame Web and Bob Marley: One Love.
More stellar features of the outdoor cinema include an on-site snack bar serving fresh popcorn, classic choc tops and a number of sweet and savoury snacks.
Gather the gang and picnic gear and head down to Sunset Cinema this autumn. It’s dog-friendly, too, with pups allowed on leashes.
You can also opt for the the VIP treatment, which will get you a bean bag with a prime viewing spot as well as bottomless popcorn to snack on.
All ticket holder will receive Bluetooth headphones for their movie session.
