Fortitude Valley is set to come alive again with free outdoor live music sets, which will see road closures between Ann and McLachlan Streets. Running since 1997, the annual Valley Fiesta is referred to by Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner as a cornerstone of Brisbane’s live music and arts scene.
This year, the fiesta features a stellar lineup of artists including Mallrat, Midlife, Hatchie, and heaps more. So if you and the gang want to see some of Brisbane’s best musicians without paying entry, then this one to put on your radar.
The two-day festival will kick off at Bowen Hill’s King Street on Friday, November 3, where you can enjoy live music from emerging local artists, as well as grab a bite from the pop-up street food vendors on-site.
Then on Saturday, November 4, the Valley will transform into a massive street party, with a stacked program of live sets across two outdoor stages.
You can also embark on the Hidden Lanes Bar Trail, which will see local laneway bars offering special deals for the occasion, alongside DJs playing in both Winn Lane and Bakery Lane.
“Valley Fiesta is more than just a festival; it is a testament to the enduring power of music, culture, and community,” says Valley Fiesta producer, Kris Stewart, CEO of QMusic. “It showcases the vibrant heartbeat of Fortitude Valley, inviting everyone to join in the celebration and create lasting memories.”
