Experience the vibrant flavours of Southern California at Viva La Cali, opening in Fortitude Valley’s California Lane on Saturday, June 3.
From the team that brought comic book-inspired bar 1st Edition to the Valley comes their newest venture.
Spread across 80 square metres, Viva La Cali presents an open-air, relaxed and casual experience, whether it be for a margarita or meal (or both).
Infusing the venue with a touch of Californian charm, local artist Steen Jones has created a stunning artwork featuring a vibrant sunset-hued palm tree silhouette that adorns one side of the space and wraps around the bar.
Viva La Cali’s menu features a selection of tantalizing dishes, including mouthwatering tacos, smoked-in-house wagyu, seasonal fish ceviche, beef tartare, as well as Peruvian empanadas, and traditional fried picarone doughnuts to top things off.
The tequila-focused drinks list offers a delightful range of options, featuring a number of innovative tipples infused with spice and coffee.
Savour classics like the Viva La Margarita, expertly enhanced with house-made orange bitters, or venture into unique creations like the Watermelon Margy Hiiiii, made with watermelon cordial and finished with a natural watermelon rind sour strap.
Don’t miss the adventurous Bugs Bunny Margarita, mixed with house-made sour carrot juice.
To celebrate its grand opening, Viva La Cali will host the first of its regular So Cal Sundays on Sunday, June 4, where guests can indulge in bottomless margaritas and tacos for just $79 per person.
