If you’re an avid lover of music festivals, then chances are you’ve either been to Wildlands or at least heard of it. Since 2019, the festival has brought sold-out events to Brisbane. And with good reason: their music lineups have always been top-notch, with huge artists making an appearance in previous years.
Wildlands Festival is not only returning to Brisbane Showgrounds, but it’ll do so on December 31, 2026, so you can ring in the New Year out with a bang! They’ve also confirmed they’ll be coming to Perth on January 2. So it’s looking like it’s going to be a huge summer of music festivals for these Aussie cities.
Both Wildlands events will feature reimagined stage designs and updated site layouts. The Sahara Stage will return as an open-air experience with production and a DJ setup built for the summer sky, while the Summit Stage acts as a tented experience with live elements woven throughout. New for this year, The Wilds Stage will give fans on-stage access alongside the DJs for an intimate, up-close experience!
The lineup for this edition includes dance and electronica superstar John Summit as well as British grime pioneer Skepta, and Dutch rave force KI/KI.

Practical info
This year’s Wildlands Festival will take place on Thursday, December 31.
The presale begins on Wednesday, August 5 at 6pm, and you can register for it here. On the other hand, the general sale kicks off on Thursday, August 6 at 6pm.
You can buy your General Admission ticket during the first release for $184.99 per adult or, if you wait until the fourth release, it’ll cost you $234.99.
You can also treat yourself with the Casamigos ‘House of Friends’ VIP Pass, which includes express entry lanes, access to VIP area, bar and toilets, dedicated viewing areas and more. The add-on will cost you $109.99 in addition to your GA ticket in its first release.
Finally, you can add a Fast Pass for access to a dedicated express entry lane on arrival and the benefit of skipping the queues at bars and merchandise stalls for $45 extra.
