Chrissy Trees 4 U has a deceptive name. Although it is a stunning tree farm first and foremost, it is also much more than that. A one-stop-shop for all things Christmas, including sweet family memories, you’ll want to make the 3-hour drive to visit this magical place!
This Kingaroy farm is renowned for its natural Christmas trees, all several years all and pruned to perfection throughout the year. They range in height from 6 to 10 feet, so you can choose accordingly, and they will last for about 3 weeks once cut. You can buy them online and pick them up at select locations in Brisbane, or come live the magic for yourself and breathe in that wonderful pine aroma from November 1.
Being tree experts, they’ve got some handy tips on how to best preserve your own Chrissy tree, such as taking off a couple of centimetres off the stump to help it absorb water and maintain its freshness. They also recommend placing it away from sunlit windows and breezes, the TV and other heat sources that could speed the drying out process. Water it daily and make sure the water never drops below the trunk, and you’ve got yourself a beautiful tree that’ll last all season!
As we said though, it’s not all trees. You’ll need baubles, garlands, lights and everything in between, and you can get them all at Chrissy Trees 4 U’s dazzling Christmas Barn. With everything from festive tableware to snow globes, plus all the tree accoutrements you may need including tinsel, baubles, candles and more.

If you’ve got everything you need, and your simply want to relax and revel in the jolliness of the season, they’ve got a cosy café where you can do just that. With delicious, comforting pastries and hot bevvies, plus a romantic picnic area and games for kids, it’s the perfect little nook to make a (holi)day of it!
Twice a year, in July and October, to help get you in the Christmas spirit and express your creativity, they host a series of cheery workshops, which include all the materials and guidance you’ll need to make your very own beautiful Christmas decoration to take home and treasure. Some of their workshops include learning how to create wreaths, garlands, candle centrepieces, hanging sleds, and many other cool projects.
