Christmas is slowly sneaking up on us, which means it’s nearly time for our annual rewatch of Love Actually. With a stellar cast and just the right amount of mushy, heart-warming stories to go with it, the British rom-com has become quite the Christmas staple over the years. And 20 years on, it still works.
So, this year, instead of watching this festive favourite on Netflix, do yourself a favour and check out Love Actually in Concert.

Love Actually in Concert
After sold-out performances across the UK and Australia last year, Love Actually In Concert is returning to bring us some extra festive cheer this season. The film follows 10 separate, yet intertwining, love stories, in all their messy variety, managing to capture passion, heartbreak, romance and family ties all at the same time. Featuring a stunning cast of talented UK icons, such as Emma Thompson, Hugh Grant and the late Alan Rickman, the film was bound to become a classic!
Even better: the Southern Cross Symphony orchestra will perform the hit soundtrack live with the film being projected onto a huge screen so you can laugh, cry and cheer alongside the Richard Curtis-directed and written film that we all know and love.
Prepare to be smitten and delighted with this warm, cheesy, tried-and-true holiday flick as the live orchestra plays the movie’s soundtrack.
Practical information
Love Actually in Concert will be performed at QPAC Concert Hall from December 20 to December 21, with two shows (3:30pm and 8pm) on the 20th, and one at 1pm on the 21st.
