Yearning for warmer days and colourful flowers? You’re not the only one, and even more so with Providore Park, Roma Street Parkland’s gourmet food and lifestyle festival to look forward to on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31!
This incredible foodie event is a feast for all senses, surrounded by the lush charms of the park and celebrating the best of culinary culture, including artisan producers, local chefs, workshops, premium pop ups and world-class dining experiences. Whether you fancy yourself as a serious food connoisseur with a discerning palate, you’re more on the adventurous side, or you have a fun sweet tooth, there are bites to suit every tastebud.
This year’s Providore Park will feature some brand new spaces and experiences, but don’t worry: it will also welcome back your culinary favourites. The Village, for one, will make a return as the ultimate gourmet hub, with more than 40 stallholders and producers on show, so you can browse and discover emerging brands to your heart’s content.
But who wants to browse on an empty stomach? Make sure you pick up some of their flaky pastries, freshly baked goods and artisanal treats as you make your way around. It will be borderline impossible to resist, especially if you have a sweet tooth, with local favourites such as Doughcraft, Naldham House, 31 Degrees Gelato a Go-Go, Lune Croissanterie, Sprout and Mountain River Patisserie, dishing out freshly baked goodies alongside premium coffee. And if you’re feeling thirsty after all the shopping, Ink Gin and Easy Times Brewing Company will be serving up refreshing bevvies!

New to the 2025 program, enjoy an elevated café: Café Social is bringing not just coffee but a cosy bookshop vibe in the heart of The Village. You can purchase a book from Riverbend Books — or bring your own if you can’t put it down — and enjoy specialty brews or even a zesty Drop of Sunshine prosecco if you’re feeling bubbly.
Another debut, the Peach Pit is Providore Park’s new cocktail lounge. With tranquil views to Lakeside Meadow, the bar will be serving up cocktails by Seabourne Distillery and bar snacks by Lanai Noosa paired to the sound of DJs spinning feel-good tunes.
If you’re in a more casual mood, the Stone & Wood Garden Lounge offers cold craft beers in the sunshine, with its breezy, garden-inspired alfresco lounge area. Better yet, you’ll be perfectly positioned overlooking the Main Stage so you can sip on a cold one while you enjoy some live music from local acts like SCAT, Jason McGregor Trio, Birdman Randy Trio, The Ambassadors and more!
There’s even something for the kids, with the Beehive Kids Zone on Lakeside Lawn offering craft activities, inspired by Roma Street Parkland’s beautiful flowers and its native bees.
Although the even itself is free entry and the areas are too, there are also ticketed events for those wishing to upgrade their Providore Park experience, such as Let’s Lunch, a gourmet 3-course meal hosted by Ghanem Group’s most talented chefs, a private booth at Peach Pit, or one of several tastings, including gin or cheese.
On the more educational side of things, you can also enrol in a Beekeeping Tour of Roma Street Parkland, led by the experts at Bee One Third, and learn what all the buzz is about. Wander to the beehives in Spectacle Garden with a guide, before taking part in a workshop with veil accessories, hands-on hive experience, a honey tasting, and even a jar of local honey to take home!
So whether you’re a foodie, nature or music lover, or simply want to soak in the sun and the atmosphere, Providore Park is where the best of food and culture combine.
