The Northside has scored a new Italian restaurant, right on the waterfront in Newport. Introducing you to Sì Baby, with its maroon interiors and neon sign, serving up Italian eats with a focus on share plates, as well as plenty of wine and cocktails.
You’ll find Sì Baby in the Newport Marketplace along Redcliffe Peninsula. And from what we’ve heard, it’s been super popular since opening. So you might want to plan and book in advance.
When it comes to food, you can choose from starters such as truffle burrata, grilled octopus, mac and cheese Bolognese croquettes, and more.
Their wood-fired pizzas are all made from dough fermented for 48 hours, with varieties like truffle mushroom as well as burrata, guanciale, anchovies and tomato. We’re hungry now just thinking about it.
Sì Baby continues to deliver the carby goodness with a selection of pastas such as prawn fettuccine and papardelle lamb ragu. Pork schnitzels and steaks also appear on the menu.
To pair with your meal, you’ll find plenty of Italian and Australia wines. Or if you’re feeling a cocktail, there’s plenty of classic and signature numbers to choose from.
