Green living never felt so good! Sustainable BNE Festival is coming back for another year, lighting up Roma Street Parkland with a program packed to the brim with practical, environmentally friendly, fun, and simple ideas to help household budgets while helping live a more sustainable lifestyle.
Brisbane is already known for being a fabulous place to live, and events like this one make it even better and easier by sharing cost-saving tips, helping us live more sustainably, and connect with nature. Last year’s event attracted more than 11,000 eco-friendly Brisbanites, offering over 85 exhibitors and experiences, and this year promises to be even better!
What to expect
This year’s Sustainable BNE Festival will host interactive workshops with hands-on sessions and demos sharing practical, everyday ways to live more sustainably, as well as expert panels and talks, featuring local sustainability advocates.
There will also be innovative products and services designed to help us save money and reduce our environmental impact, so this will truly be a one-stop-shop experience!
You will have the opportunity to connect with likeminded people, with community groups, local businesses and organisations committed to sustainability in attendance, and you can bond further at one of the ticketed activities, like a long lunch or curated picnic.
But it’s not all serious business! There will be plenty of entertainment for the whole family, live music, food trucks, market stalls, and even an appearance of everyone’s favourite Heelers! You’ll be able to enjoy the Bluey Live Interactive Experience across the day, with Bluey taking to the stage for three sessions. You will even be able to spend time with the famous pups, with limited free tickets to meet Bluey and Bingo throughout the day!
