Step into a world of creativity, community and fun with The Great Artist Market, hosted at Felons Barrel Hall, spilling onto the lush Rivergarden lawn for an even more fulfilling market experience on Saturday, April 5.
You can expect a whopping 70+ artists, curated by Claire Ritchie, ensuring high standards and variety across the board. From sculptural jewellery, to unique paper art and psychedelic pieces, you won’t know where to look first!
Budding artists and art lovers will also find plenty of entertainment outside, with activities like face painting, balloon twisting and roving performers, providing heaps of fun for the whole family. Even furry friends can get in on the art experience with Bad Pet Portraits creating a masterpiece featuring their adorable faces.

As you make your way through stalls inside, Jet Black Cat Music will be flipping feel-good vinyl sets, setting the mood for a day of browsing and shopping. Allpress will be serving specialty morning brews alongside freshly baked goodies at the TGAM baker and, for those wanting to make a party out of it, there will be mimosas and, of course, Felons’ award-winning Barrel Aged Beers.
If you’re more of a hands-on person, you can try your hand at creating your own art at the TGAM x MoB Crafty Party with Gold Coast-based artist DIY Daisy, who will guide you as you craft your very own necklace out of a dazzling array of second-hand beads over the course of this 90-minute workshop.
The market itself will run from 8am to 3pm and it’s free entry! The craft workshop, however, is booked separately and you can secure your spot here.
