The warmer weather is here, and so is the search for a place to cool down, preferably one with swimming involved. Thanks to The Westin Brisbane‘s super chic pool bar, we don’t have to travel too far to relax by the pool with a cocktail. Nautilus Beach Club is the perfect spot to live out your island fantasies.
From Friday to Sunday until April 28, this oasis of fun pays homage to the idyllic Maldives, with a swim-up pool bar, DJs on the decks, food and drinks inspired by the island paradise, and swim time aplenty. Not to mention Brisbane’s first-ever floating Maldivian breakfast experience.
The general admission entry fee to the swim-up pool bar is $39, which gets you a spritz cocktail on arrival as well as free use of the pool area for up to five hours. You can make a whole afternoon out of it if you’d like, especially since Nautilus is open from 12pm until 5pm.
You can level up your experience by booking a private cabana, which includes a seafood platter for two, a bottle of rosé and sparkling water.
Or, in true Maldivian style, you can come in early on a Friday or Saturday between 10 and 11.30am to luxe out with the floating breakfast experience, served in the pool with a choice of hot breakfast items, fresh slices fruit, pastries, juice, tea or coffee and a bottle of Mumm Champagne.
You can find the pool bar on level 2 of The Westin, Brisbane CBD.
