This Over The Top Festive-Themed Bar Is Celebrating Christmas In July In Style

Christmas in July is around the corner and for one whole month, Australians can celebrate Christmas all day every day with festivals, wine and feasting. One spot to add to your list is Tinseltown — an over-the-top Christmas decorated bar in Newstead, decked up with baubles, tinsel, bows, wreaths, fairy lights, and every other Christmas decoration under the sun. And it’s not just all the decorations that make it a standout. There’s a ridiculously Instagrammable menu available too. We’re talking candy canes, eggnog, themed cocktails and mulled wine galore.
You can also expect joyful Christmas carols at the venue, a visit from Santa and his elves, pudding, lights and more. This time round, they’re doing prizes for ugliest sweaters and best dressed so don’t forget to put your best foot forward.
The bar will be open from Wednesday to Sunday every week and sessions last up to 90 minutes. You can also look forward to a Christmas-themed tipple upon arrival.
The Yuletide celebrations kick off at the Entertainment Quarter opposite Watson’s on Lang’s Road, for the entire month of July. Tickets cost just $10-$15 and it’s an 18+ event although Tinseltown does have family-friendly sessions on weekends, suitable for all ages.
