We’re big fans of the Motto Motto. And by the looks of it, so are plenty of others around town. While the Japanese kitchen is known primarily for its mouthwatering bowls of rice, ramen and curry, that’s not all they do. Last year, they created a Moreton Bay bug roll that we still think about but now Executive Chef Ryuji Tomihara has created a mouth-watering lobster roll that Motto Motto believes is Australia’s most indulgent.
Motto Motto’s Lobster Roll
To begin, the bread is a toasted and buttered burger bun packed full of Atlantic lobster meat, shallots, creamy yuzu dressing, freshly sliced avo and black fish roe. It’s not huge, but the flavour packs a punch that you’re going to want to be going back for more.
The lobster roll certainly sounds indulgent and priced at just $16, it’s fair to say that it’s on the lower end of the spectrum when talking about lobster.
Group Chief Operating Officer Matt Fickling said, “We’re super excited to bring Aussies a bit of comfort and luxury during these times for the same price as a standard from their local burger joint. More quality, more care and more affordable – so all Aussies can get more, when dining at Motto Motto.”
When is the Motto Motto Lobster Roll available?
Motto Motto’s premium lobster roll will be available from Tuesday 9 November. They expect it to be around for about one week, but, then again, there’s a limited number available. So, if you want to find out for yourself if this is Australia’s least expensive and most indulgent lobster roll, you’re going to have to get in quick.
