Riverbar and Kitchen has got you covered for Riverfire’s stunning display of colour and light.
The much-loved Sunsuper Riverfire event will once again mark the end of Brisbane Festival, but where are you going to watch the phenomenal pyrotechnic display of light, colour and sound from?
In previous years, Riverbar and Kitchen has celebrated the biggest night in Brisbane’s event calendar with live entertainment, drinks, food and great vibes. And with prime views of Story Bridge and the Brisbane River, it’s been a great location to take in all the action of the night.
Well, this year is no different as the venue is putting together a tempting offer complete with delicious cocktail specials from Riverbar’s exclusive Bombay Sapphire menu. You’ll also get to enjoy a 2.5 hour drinks package (house wine, sparkling, and tap beer) as well as roving canapés and access to not one but two charcuterie stations.
Doors open at 5pm and you’ll want to arrive early because seating on the night won’t be allocated. So, it’s a first-in, best-dressed kind of affair when it comes to snatching the perfect spot to make the most of the 180-degree views of the river and the fireworks which will be set up from multiple bridges, barges and city rooftops. Before that happens though, the event will begin with a smoking ceremony and then the Australian Army and Royal Australian Air Force will perform aerial acrobatics to make the crowds gasp and hold onto their own seats.
Tickets to Riverbar and Kitchen’s Riverfire celebration cost $135pp. Not bad for free-flowing gin cocktails, house wines, tap beers and food roving around as we mark the end of Brisbane Festival.
